摘 要(英文):The production, composition, seasonal dynamics and its decomposition rate of litter-fall of representative forests ―monsoon evergreen broad leaved forest (B.F.) and needle broadleaf mixed forest (M.F.) and coniferous forest (C.F.)of successional series in Dinghushan were studied. The results showed that the mean annual litter-fall productions (t.hm-2) were 8.28(7.57~9.12) and 8.50(7.85~9.26) and 3.31(2.45~3.74), respectively. The litter-fall contained leaves 61%, branches 17%, flowers and other mixed-matter 22% in B.F. and 67%, 16%, 17% in M.F. and 78%, 4%, 18% in C.F. , respectely. The litter-fall peak appeared at of rain season and earlier stage of dry season. The mean annual decomposition rate (% mixed litter) were 49.15 and 40.84 and 36.94, respectively. The significantly different decomposition rates of litters from three forests mainly occurred in the early stage of decomposition process.
