摘 要(英文):A series of techniques which included the analysis of variance, µ2 test, the association coefficient, Ochiai, Dice, Jaccard, point correlation coefficient, a new formula of interspecific association
measurement and the t2test of correlation coefficients, togetherwith a 2 ×2 contingency table, was used to analyze the interspecific association of dominant species of lower subtrop icalmonsoon evergreen broad-leaved forest and coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest atDinghushan, south China. The analysis of variance, the µ test, the association coefficient and Ochiai are suitable techniques for the measurement of interspecific association for several different forest communities atDinghushan. IfAC is + 1 or - 1, then a, b, c and d valuesmust be weighted as 1, the result will be even better.
