摘 要(英文):A 6 - year(1992~1997) trial on eco - benefits of Pinus massoniana and Castanopsis hystris mixed forest, in a hilly erosion region of lateric red soil of subtropics showed that the mean height growth, radial growth, individual volume increment and stock of the mixed forest increased by 3.85%, 18.75%, 42.11% and 18.69%, respectively, compared with a pure P. massoniana stand under in same conditions. Futhermore, the former had 3.1t/hm2 of litter standing crop, more 2.48 times than the latter. Meanwhile, the contents of soil organic matter, total N and P, available N, P and K at 0~20cm, and soil water at 0~20cm and 20~40cm deep in the mixed forest increased by 354%, 374%, 9.5%, 73.3%, 9.9%, 15.5%, 54.1% and 36.3%, respectively, as compared to the pure forest. The highest temperature of air and soil surface, the daily amplitude of temperature of air and soil surface in the mixed forest decreased by 1.6℃ , 1.4℃, 1.6℃ and 2.2℃, whereas the relative humidity increased by 8.6%; and the plant spieces and individuals were more abundant and complicated than in the pure forest. The results indicate that the P. massoniana and C. hystris mixed forest is a suitable mixed forest type in this region lied in the low subtropics, and is suitable for improving the local P. massoniana pure forest.
